High River has evolved from the small prairie town it was in the 90s.
We’ve grown to be a home for international business, continued as a choice location for “Hollywood”, and have a budding business sector surrounded by beautiful hiking trails through the river valley of the Highwood River. Many lead to a downtown gem - George Lane Park and Campground. If you are adventurous enough, you’ll find some of the best-kept secrets along the way.

You can easily explore all this on foot, skateboard, bicycle, or even hail one of our Bike Taxis in the summer. We promise you’ll never run out of new places to discover in High River. And we don’t make promises lightly!
