The Day of The Dead High River 2022 is our 5th year for this event hosted by El Papalote.

The day of the dead schedule is as follows for events at The Highwood Memorial Centre:

NOVEMBER 3 | 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM - Art Exhibit, Altar, Auction, Workshops

NOVEMBER 4 | 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM - Art Exhibit, Altar, Auction, Workshops

NOVEMBER 5 | 5:30 PM - Closing Gala with multi-course dinner, Cultural Performance, Dancing, Final Bids and Auction Closes, Art Exhibit and Altar.

During the week of October 30 to November 5th participating local food establishments serve special dishes such as Chocolate and Pan de Muerto (Oaxacan Hot Chocolate and Day of the Dead Bread) They may also have a feature dish they will offer as well. The Dining Car at High River Station, Colossi’s Coffee House and Emerson Lane Mercantile.
